Flotilla Commander: Renauld Adams
Meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 7:30PM
at Museum Shores Yacht Club, immediately south of the Museum of Science and Industry
We are volunteers, performing boating safety missions and other duties as directed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Among the many activities were are involved with are:
Vessal Safety Examinations: With the owner's permission, we check the vessal to assure everything is safe and in accordance with all regulations.
Marine Dealer Visits: We visit Marine Dealers, other businesses, schools and other places where the boating public gathers to spread the word about programs and information regarding Safe Boating.
Security Patrols: River patrol and security is one of the many things we do. Some patrols are for special events such as the Air and Water Show and the Mac Race.
